  • Perform design feasibility studies, cost analysis, strength calculations, and material selection.
  • Create and maintain 3D models and layouts using CATIA V5 (mandatory) and CATIA V6 (preferred).
  • Execute hose and pipe routing, as well as harness and cable routing.
  • Prepare, review, and release 2D and 3D engineering drawings.
  • Apply GD&T principles to ensure proper fit, function, and manufacturability.
  • Support prototype builds, product testing, and manufacturing launch activities.
  • Verify designs meet quality, cost, performance, and regulatory requirements.
  • Recommend design improvements to support testing and mass production.
  • Coordinate with manufacturing teams, suppliers, and cross-functional stakeholders.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of engineering design experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field.
  • Experience in concept development, specification setting, and layout creation.
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and coordination skills., * Proficiency in CATIA V5 (mandatory).
  • Working knowledge of CATIA V6 (preferred).
  • Experience in 2D and 3D drawing creation and release.
  • Strong understanding of GD&T.
  • Experience with hose, pipe, harness, and cable routing.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes and part construction methodologies.

Nice to Have

  • Experience mentoring and guiding junior engineers.
  • Familiarity with PLM systems and engineering change management processes., * Bachelor’s degree in engineering or engineering-related areas: electrical, controls, systems, computer science, data science or equivalent experience
