Perform design feasibility studies, cost analysis, strength calculations, and material selection.
Create and maintain 3D models and layouts using CATIA V5 (mandatory) and CATIA V6 (preferred).
Execute hose and pipe routing, as well as harness and cable routing.
Prepare, review, and release 2D and 3D engineering drawings.
Apply GD&T principles to ensure proper fit, function, and manufacturability.
Support prototype builds, product testing, and manufacturing launch activities.
Verify designs meet quality, cost, performance, and regulatory requirements.
Recommend design improvements to support testing and mass production.
Coordinate with manufacturing teams, suppliers, and cross-functional stakeholders.

Requirements

6+ years of engineering design experience.
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field.
Experience in concept development, specification setting, and layout creation.
Strong communication, collaboration, and coordination skills., * Proficiency in CATIA V5 (mandatory).
Working knowledge of CATIA V6 (preferred).
Experience in 2D and 3D drawing creation and release.
Strong understanding of GD&T.
Experience with hose, pipe, harness, and cable routing.
Knowledge of manufacturing processes and part construction methodologies.

Nice to Have

Experience mentoring and guiding junior engineers.
Familiarity with PLM systems and engineering change management processes., * Bachelor’s degree in engineering or engineering-related areas: electrical, controls, systems, computer science, data science or equivalent experience
