  • Physically support tests including confirmation that test setups are correct and that test plans are understood and executed to intent.
  • Prepare moderately complex documentation for review by technical leadership to record and submit all necessary development / testing / research information per the determined schedule.
  • Help coordinate and execute root cause analysis, countermeasure activities, and improvement initiatives to technical leadership., Reliability Development Test Engineers are responsible for validating the vehicle, systems, and sub-systems to meet strength and durability targets with a goal of meeting or exceeding customer expectations.

You will be in charge of delivering sub-system or full vehicle computational and testing results at every stage of the automotive development project(s). Requirements

  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint

  • Experience in data analysis and communication of complex information to engineering management is desired.

  • Experience with following software or similar is desired

o 3D CAD surface modeling CATIA or SolidWorks

o Data acquisition software

o FEA Software Abaqus, Nastran, Hypermesh, Ansa, Meta, LS-DYNA

o Scripting in Java, Python, MATLAB

  • Ability to effectively communicate complex ideas and concerns, * Produce and analyze engineering data using pre-set tools, methods, and formats. Involves working independently., BS Degree in Mechanical Engineering
