Job description
As a Medicaid Systems Transition Manager, the work you’ll do at GDIT will be impactful to the mission of our government customers. You will play a crucial role in upgrading Medicaid Management Information Systems.
- Serve as liaison to the customer for design, development, implementation, and certification, as well as maintenance, modification, and enhancement activities during transitions
- Collaborate with other teams and vendors to ensure seamless integration of services.
- Follow all approved plans, procedures, and protocol guides
- Manage project and scope coordination during development, deployment, integration and certification
- Project scheduling and provision of resources
- Lead other project managers during transitions
Requirements
- Five (5) or more years of IT experience, including at four (4) years of experience managing multi-supplier projects, or similar complex integration efforts, preferably on state government contracts.
- Two (2) years of experience with Medicaid Enterprise Certification Toolkit, Outcomes Based Certification, Streamlined Modular Certification, or related certification efforts
- Working knowledge of Medicaid Transformation Initiative, Medicaid Information Technology Architecture (MITA) 3.0, and the CMS Seven Standards and Conditions
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, business, or a related field; or equivalent work experience
- PMP Certification or equivalent, 5 + years of related experience

This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
