- Define and execute the companyâs technology vision and long-term engineering strategy.
- Serve as a hands-on technical leader, actively contributing to architecture, design, and software development.
- Lead Greenfield product development from concept through production.
- Build, mentor, and scale high-performing engineering teams.
- Establish engineering best practices, coding standards, CI/CD processes, and software development methodologies.
- Drive AI-first product development, leveraging modern AI-assisted coding tools and large language model technologies where appropriate.
- Make key architectural decisions that prioritize scalability, performance, reliability, and security.
- Partner closely with executive leadership, product management, and stakeholders to align technology initiatives with business objectives.
- Evaluate emerging technologies and identify opportunities for innovation.
- Foster a culture of ownership, accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Requirements
We are seeking a highly technical Chief Technology Officer (CTO) or an exceptional engineering leader ready to step into a CTO role. This is a hands-on leadership position for someone who enjoys building products, writing production code, and leading engineering organizations from the ground up.
The ideal candidate combines strategic thinking with deep technical expertise and is comfortable spending significant time âon the keyboardâ while also defining technical vision, mentoring engineers, and building high-performing teams. Youâll play a key role in shaping our technology roadmap, architecture, engineering culture, and AI strategy.
This opportunity is ideal for an experienced CTO or a senior engineering leader with the technical maturity and leadership capability to grow into an executive technology role., * Bilingual English + Spanish.
- Bachelorâs degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Extensive software engineering experience with a strong history of hands-on development.
- Demonstrated ability to lead engineering teams while remaining an active individual contributor.
- Experience building Greenfield applications, platforms, or products.
- Strong architectural design and system engineering experience.
- Proven expertise developing cloud-native applications.
- Experience building scalable distributed systems and modern APIs.
- Strong understanding of DevOps, CI/CD, infrastructure automation, and software delivery.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to balance strategic leadership with tactical execution.
