Job description

  • Continuously monitor AI research and the open-source ecosystem to identify technologies with real product potential.
  • Reproduce promising research papers and models, validating results and assessing their practical applicability.
  • Design and run rigorous experiments, including ablation studies, benchmarking, and systematic evaluations.
  • Extend existing approaches with your own ideas, particularly in the areas of text-to-speech (TTS) and speech-to-text (STT).
  • Collaborate closely with engineering teams to transform research outcomes into production-ready AI systems.
  • Share insights and contribute to a culture of continuous learning and innovation.

Requirements

  • A strong background in machine learning gained through industry experience, academic research, or a PhD, combined with solid hands-on expertise in PyTorch.
  • Experience implementing and reproducing research papers, with the ability to identify the gap between published results and real-world applications.
  • A structured, scientific approach to experimentation, with a focus on reproducibility, fair comparisons, and reliable evaluation.
  • Strong Python programming skills and the curiosity to explore unfamiliar technical challenges.
  • Ideally, personal machine learning projects, publications, or open-source contributions. Experience in speech AI is a plus, but not a requirement.
  • A collaborative mindset and experience working in agile teams.
