Solutions Architect

We are Glacier Technologies, a consulting and contracting firm supporting health and IT solutions across the nation. Glacier Technologies is seeking a Technical Lead / Solution Architect to provide technical leadership for enterprise application development, modernization, cloud architecture, and operations supporting a federal civilian customer. This position is contingent upon award of contract. The Technical Lead will guide system architecture decisions, mentor developers, ensure adherence to development standards, and provide technical oversight across the software development lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Lead enterprise application architecture and solution design.
• Develop technical strategies supporting modernization initiatives.
• Design Microsoft 365 and Azure-based solutions.
• Lead SharePoint Online architecture and administration.
• Guide Power Platform solution development.
• Lead DevSecOps implementation and CI/CD practices.
• Review software architecture and code quality.
• Support cloud migration activities.
• Develop integration strategies using REST APIs.
• Ensure compliance with cybersecurity requirements.
• Mentor software developers.
• Participate in technical reviews and customer meetings.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline.
• Minimum 10 years software engineering experience.
• Minimum 5 years serving as Technical Lead or Solution Architect.
• Experience with Microsoft 365.
• Experience with SharePoint Online.
• Experience designing Azure cloud solutions.
• Experience leading Agile software development teams.
• Experience designing enterprise integrations.
