Architect (Windows Infrastructure / Microsoft 365)

Technology Digest Inc. is seeking an experienced Infrastructure Architect to support a major public-sector client . Extensive experience in enterprise Windows environments, Microsoft System Center, Microsoft 365, and cloud infrastructure.

The ideal candidate will serve as a technical leader responsible for enterprise infrastructure operations, modernization initiatives, and cloud upgrade projects while working closely with cross-functional IT teams.

Responsibilities

• Design, support, and maintain enterprise Windows infrastructure.
• Upgrade and modernize enterprise infrastructure systems, including Microsoft System Center.
• Monitor and manage Microsoft Windows Server, networking infrastructure, and Microsoft 365 environments.
• Provide technical leadership for infrastructure and cloud upgrade projects.
• Support IT teams using ITIL-based incident, problem, and request management processes.
• Troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues and implement long-term solutions.
• Collaborate with application teams, project managers, and business stakeholders.
• Ensure infrastructure reliability, security, and high availability.
• Develop and maintain infrastructure documentation and best practices.

• Minimum 5 years of enterprise Windows Server administration experience.
• Minimum 5 years of Microsoft System Center (SCCM, SCOM, Configuration Manager, or related products).
• Minimum 5 years of Microsoft 365 administration.
• Strong knowledge of enterprise infrastructure architecture.
• Experience supporting large enterprise IT environments.
• Strong troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
• Must currently reside in Minnesota.
