Job description

Join the FUSIONHCR team and become the go-to expert behind the applications that keep our business running. Do you thrive on solving complex technical puzzles, designing smart solutions, and being the person people count on when systems need to work flawlessly? FUSIONHCR is looking for an Application Support Administrator II to provide expert configuration, design, and on-call support for business-critical applications. If you love variety, ownership, and building solutions that make a real difference, we want to hear from you. Why You’ll Love This Role

  • Be a true subject matter expert - configure workflows, design applications, and build integrations that shape how the business operates.
  • Partner across the organization, working directly with Product Managers, business stakeholders, and IT professionals to solve real business challenges.
  • Own meaningful projects from concept to delivery, with the autonomy to manage your own initiatives.
  • Keep growing your expertise across a diverse suite of applications and technologies.

What You’ll Do Design & Configure Solutions

  • Serve as Subject Matter Expert for application configuration, including operational workflows, business logic design, and system integrations.
  • Create solutions spanning systems development, process improvement, organizational change, strategic planning, or policy development.
  • Work with business users and stakeholders to gather business, functional, and technical requirements, then design applications that meet those needs.

Collaborate & Deliver

  • Partner with Product Managers to address business opportunities and issues across functional areas.
  • Work with the Product Management team and vendors on solutioning in support of business requirements.
  • Provide input on project and effort modeling to help size upcoming initiatives.
  • Juggle multiple initiatives at once and consistently deliver against aggressive timelines.

Support & Sustain

  • Provide Level 2 application and on-call support across the application suite.
  • Manage escalated technical situations, develop action plans, and maintain clear support documentation.
  • Independently manage short-duration projects (typically 1-3 months) under the direction of Project and Product Managers.
  • Maintain expertise across multiple application environments, ensuring systems stay stable, efficient, and responsive to business needs.
  • Continuously build your knowledge of FUSIONHCR’s application suite and contribute as a resource on major projects.

Requirements

  • Must be 21 years of age or older.
  • Proof of authorization/eligibility to work in the United States.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Associate’s degree or equivalent experience in application support and coding required; Bachelor’s degree or relevant certification preferred.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a valid Nevada Control Board registration and any other required certification or license.
  • 5 years of experience in Information Technology.
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience designing, coding, and configuring operational applications (e.g., Snow, Four Winds digital signage, Track Via workflow system, SailPoint access management, SharePoint Administration, or similar).
  • Demonstrated business analysis experience - gathering requirements, forecasting implications, and delivering consultative recommendations.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft SharePoint, Dynamics 365, CRM, HTML, and/or .NET preferred.
  • Working knowledge of iSeries/AS 400 applications and OS preferred.
  • Exposure to traditional casino/hotel applications (VConnect, CDP/Adobe, Mobile application) needed.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to connect with people from all backgrounds and experience levels.
  • Must work on-call, and flexible for nights, weekends, and holidays.
