Job description

Cloud infrastructure is the foundation of how modern organizations scale. We are looking for an experienced Cloud Engineer to own the design, deployment, and optimization of our multi-cloud environments. In this role, you will transition our infrastructure away from manual configurations into fully automated, secure, and resilient systems.

You will work closely with developers, DevOps, and security teams to improve deployment speed, eliminate system bottlenecks, and ensure high availability across all platforms.

What You’ll Do

  • Standardize and automate our infrastructure provisioning exclusively through tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
  • Maintain and optimize core cloud platforms across AWS, Azure, or GCP to ensure reliability and disaster recovery readiness.
  • Partner with development teams to build, maintain, and streamline automated deployment pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Jenkins).
  • Deploy and orchestrate scalable application workloads using Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Implement cloud security guardrails, strict Identity and Access Management (IAM) policies, and network security controls (VPCs, firewalls).
  • Monitor resource utilization and cloud spend, using data to trim waste and right-size environments without sacrificing performance.
  • Dive into complex networking, routing, and system performance issues to conduct root-cause analysis.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or equivalent practical industry experience.
  • 2+ years of hands-on experience working as a Cloud Engineer, DevOps Engineer, or Systems Engineer managing live, production-grade workloads.
  • Deep, practical experience managing resources within at least one major public cloud provider (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
  • Strong experience with IaC tools (Terraform) and the ability to write automation scripts in Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
  • A solid understanding of Linux/Windows administration and core networking concepts (DNS, VPNs, load balancing).

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience supporting large-scale cloud migrations or digital transformation initiatives.
  • Familiarity with systems monitoring, logging, and APM tools (e.g., Datadog, Prometheus, ELK stack).
  • Active industry certifications such as AWS Solutions Architect, Azure Administrator, or Google Professional Cloud Engineer.
