Job description
The selected developer will be responsible for designing and developing a comprehensive portal system consisting of:
- Patient Portal
- Attorney Portal
- Administrative Dashboard
The system must provide secure access to medical records, document management, appointment tracking, communication tools, billing, reporting, and administrative functions while following industry best practices for security and data privacy.
Key ResponsibilitiesPatient Portal
- Develop a secure login system
- Create a patient dashboard with appointment information and notifications
- Enable patients to access and download medical reports
- Develop electronic intake and consent forms
- Allow secure document uploads
- Implement secure messaging with clinic staff
- Display invoices, payment history, and online payment options
- Provide access to educational resources
Attorney Portal
- Develop secure attorney login
- Display referred client information
- Track referral and case progress
- Provide access to completed reports and Life Care Plans
- Enable secure document uploads
- Implement secure messaging
- Notify attorneys when reports become available
- Display invoices, payment history, and online payment options
Administrative Dashboard
- Manage patient and attorney records
- Manage referral sources
- Schedule appointments
- Upload and organize medical reports
- Assign providers and therapists
- Track evaluations and treatment progress
- Manage testing status
- Manage billing and invoicing
- Generate reports and analytics
- Manage user roles and permissions
- Maintain activity logs for security and HIPAA compliance
Requirements
Applicants should possess:
- Demonstrated experience developing secure web applications
- Strong knowledge of modern front-end and back-end development technologies
- Experience with database design and management
- Experience implementing role-based user access
- Experience integrating secure file storage and payment systems
- Understanding of data privacy and security best practices
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
Experience developing healthcare, legal, or enterprise portal systems is highly preferred.
