Data Manager

Maintains and utilizes the computerized student information system

-Prepares/summarizes/analyzes information for standard/statistical reports as needed by system administrators and SDPI.

-Prepares and/or maintains computer records of student attendance, late-arrival forms, creates”tardy” lists, check-out forms, and “early leave” lists .

-Provides the files to be used in school accountability (ABC’s).

-Maintains student demographic, scheduling, and grading information.

-Maintains records of student suspensions, withdrawals from school, transfers between schools.

-Provides information and/or training to school staff on the use of the student information system and application of data from the system.

-Attends conferences and classes to develop and maintain knowledge of database management and the student information system.

-Any other duties assigned by the principal.

Two years of college or technical school OR

three to five years of experience directly related to data entry/management OR an equivalent combination of training/experience.

-Possess a general knowledge of computers, computer commands, peripherals, various operating systems and troubleshooting hardware and software problems.

Must be willing to obtain bus driver license
