We have a permanent position for DevOps Engineer in Colorado Springs, CO for a DevOps engineer. This is 100% onsite and they do offer a 9x80 work schedule. You must have an active TS/SCI to apply and have a CI poly or be willing to undergo one after you start. Details below. If interested, SEND RESUME and SALARY., Overview: Seeking highly motivated Sr. DevSecOps engineers to take their skills to the next level through hands-on development on a diverse multi-disciplined team of engineers, operating in an agile environment, using the latest tools and methodologies for multiple long-term satellite ground system projects. The ideal candidate should have extensive DevSecOps knowledge and experience in developing in managed modern cloud based environments using agile development processes with minimum 7 years of software development and virtual team collaboration. The specific focus for the Sr. DevSecOps Engineer is on deploying applications and database deployments to a cloud environment. Use of development, automation and optimization tools and techniques covering the development and platform management lifecycle, including: Extensive knowledge of DevSecOps tools Develop and sustain Continuous Integration (CI) pipelines for automated deployment of the highly available, mission critical cloud or enterprise platform product software for integration and test and operations Experience with the creation of scripts and templates to build development systems Desired Skills: Experience with application and database deployments to a cloud environment Extensive depth of knowledge in DevSecOps tools Hands on experience automating software builds, unit tests, integration tests, deployment, and installations using a DevSecOps tool chain such as Jenkins, Nexus, Artifactory, etc. Knowledge of SonarQube or other tools to instrument, trend, and manage code quality Experience developing containerized microservices deployed into a cloud based orchestration framework such as Kubernetes/Rancher, AWS, Docker Swarm, or OpenShift. Current knowledge of static/dynamic code analysis tools AWS, Openstack, RHEL 8 techonology experience is desirable Familiarity with application performance analysis and monitoring Experience using team collaboration tools including Git, JIRA Agile, and Confluence
