Job description

As a JavaCard Applets Architect you will be responsible for:

  • Translate market requirements from customers into product specifications.
  • Design and develop secure JavaCard applets for car access, battery management, telematic systems, identification, payment and other services.
  • Ensure proper internal unit and system tests, support functional and security testing at external test houses.
  • Give technical guidance to the development team.

Requirements

  • Bachelor or Master’s degree (computer science or similar)
  • 6+ years JavaCard Applet development experience for mass-market products
  • Experience with compliancy certification of e.g. payment and eGovernment applications
  • Solid understanding of Secure Element/smartcard internal workings.
  • Good understanding of cryptographic algorithms (e.g. DES, AES, RSA, ECC, PKCS)
  • Strong communication skills, experience with diverse teams (cultural, geographical)
  • Experience in technically leading and steering multi-site software development teams
  • Fluent English skills both verbally and written.
  • Basic knowledge of automotive standards and procedures (IATF16949, FMEA, ASPICE, CMMI, ISO26262)
  • Experience in technically collaborating in a cross-industry organization (e.g. Car Connectivity Consortium) is a plus

Please note: The successful candidate may/will be responsible for security related tasks. The assignment may/will be in scope of security certifications, therefore a conscious and reliable way of working is necessary.
