Job description

  • Collaborate with the development team to implement features and maintain the backend architecture.
  • Assist in the development of new applications and features with end-to-end involvement under the guidance of senior team members.
  • Write and maintain integration and unit tests to ensure the delivery of reliable and high-quality software.
  • Support efforts to optimize the performance, security, and scalability of the platform.
  • Learn and stay updated with current technology trends and best practices to contribute effectively to the team’s goals.
  • Take part in code reviews, actively seek feedback, and continuously improve your coding skills.

Requirements

  • 2 years of professional experience in Java development
  • Exposure to Spring framework or willingness to learn it quickly.
  • Basic knowledge of relational databases (e.g., MySQL) and SQL querying.
  • Interest in improving coding standards, processes, and tools in collaboration with the team.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a willingness to take on new challenges.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Fluency in English as the working language; knowledge of German is a plus.
