Senior Cloud Engineer

We are seeking a Senior Cloud Engineer to support a mission-critical federal program focused on infrastructure modernization, secure cloud environments, and national security initiatives. This is a high-impact, hands-on role centered on building and managing scalable AWS-based infrastructure in secure environments. Your work will directly support operational readiness, system reliability, and mission execution. You will play a key role in designing, automating, and maintaining cloud infrastructure while ensuring compliance with federal security standards in a collaborative, mission-driven environment., Build and manage AWS infrastructure including EC2, VPC, IAM, and S3 Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform and CloudFormation Support CI/CD pipelines and automation for cloud-based systems Administer and support Linux-based environments Ensure compliance with security frameworks including STIGs and RMF Monitor system performance, availability, and scalability of cloud environments Collaborate with cross-functional teams across engineering, analytics, and infrastructure Support secure data handling and compliance requirements within a cleared environment

Active Top Secret clearance Strong experience with AWS infrastructure (EC2, VPC, IAM, S3) Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation) Experience supporting CI/CD pipelines and automation Experience working within Linux-based environments Experience supporting systems in secure or regulated environments Familiarity with security compliance frameworks such as STIGs and RMF Ability to operate at a senior level, owning solutions end-to-end

Fully onsite at Redstone Arsenal (Huntsville, AL) Monday-Friday within standard core business hours Secure facility requiring strict adherence to security protocols Fast-paced, mission-focused environment supporting national security operations Direct collaboration with highly skilled technical teams

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
