Job description

We are looking for an experienced Ruby on Rails Developer to join our talented development team. As a Ruby on Rails Developer at Storecove, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable API applications. You will work closely with our product managers and designers to deliver high-quality software solutions that meet our clients’ needs.

  • Develop, test, and maintain API applications using Ruby on Rails.
  • Participate in the DevOps team.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code.
  • Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to these problems.
  • Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure our applications remain modern and competitive.
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to the continuous improvement of our development processes.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of proven experience as a Ruby on Rails Developer.
  • Strong understanding of object-oriented programming.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think critically.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • Experience with Java and Kafka is a plus.
