Job description

The team is responsible for maintaining highly available enterprise applications while driving automation initiatives, improving system reliability, and supporting mission-critical production environments., * Design, develop, and maintain enterprise software applications with a strong focus on production stability.

  • Apply Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) principles to improve application reliability, scalability, and performance.
  • Support production environments, troubleshoot incidents, perform root cause analysis, and implement long-term solutions.
  • Participate in on-call rotations, weekend deployments, and production support activities.
  • Build and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform.
  • Develop automation solutions to reduce manual operational tasks.
  • Create and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins.
  • Develop automation scripts using Shell, Python, or other scripting languages.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to improve platform reliability and operational efficiency.
  • Monitor system performance, resolve production issues, and drive continuous service improvements.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies, code reviews, and technical design discussions.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of Software Engineering experience.
  • Strong programming experience in Java (preferred) or Python.
  • Strong understanding of Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) principles and best practices.
  • Hands-on experience supporting production applications.
  • Experience with AWS or other public cloud platforms.
  • Hands-on experience with Terraform (Infrastructure as Code).
  • Experience building or supporting CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins or similar tools.
  • Strong scripting experience using Shell, Bash, Python, or PowerShell.
  • Experience troubleshooting production issues and performing root cause analysis.
  • Excellent analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
