Job description

This is an excellent opportunity for either a junior developer looking to accelerate their career or an experienced frontend professional seeking greater project ownership and variety. You’ll work on a diverse range of bespoke digital solutions, including business management platforms, e-commerce applications, mobile apps and customer-facing web systems that genuinely transform how organisations operate.

Unlike agencies where projects are often delivered and forgotten, you’ll build long-term relationships with clients, becoming a trusted extension of their team and seeing the impact of your work firsthand.

The Opportunity

You’ll play a key role in designing and developing modern, intuitive user interfaces using technologies such as React, Next.js and Vite. Working closely with designers, backend developers and clients, you’ll transform ideas and requirements into polished, production-ready applications.

You’ll be involved throughout the full project lifecycle and have the opportunity to contribute to both web and mobile application development. If you’re interested in broadening your skill set, there will also be opportunities to gain exposure to backend technologies including PHP, Node.js and modern JavaScript frameworks.

  • Transform designs, wireframes and client requirements into engaging user experiences
  • Contribute to mobile application development using React Native
  • Collaborate directly with clients to understand requirements and deliver effective frontend solutions
  • Work closely with backend developers to integrate APIs and ensure seamless functionality
  • Maintain and enhance shared component libraries and design systems
  • Participate in code reviews with a focus on usability, accessibility and code quality

Requirements

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Strong understanding of HTML, CSS and JavaScript
  • Experience with React or another modern component-based frontend framework
  • Understanding of responsive design principles and cross-device compatibility
  • Good eye for layout, design and user experience
  • Familiarity with Git and version control practices
  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach
  • Eagerness to learn and continuously improve

Desirable Skills

  • Experience with Next.js and/or Vite
  • Exposure to React Native development
  • Knowledge of Tailwind CSS or similar CSS frameworks
  • Understanding of UI/UX best practices and web accessibility standards
  • Experience using Figma, Adobe Creative Suite or similar design tools
  • Graphic design capability and experience creating digital assets
