Job description

At bookingkit, we are moving from stability to high growth. Our goal by 2030 is to create an AI-powered Success Platform enabling Attractions like museums, sights, and theme parks to grow ticket sales and simplify ticket operations. And that’s where you come in: We aren’t looking for someone to just ‘answer tickets.’ We need a Technical Bridge-someone who speaks the language of APIs and JavaScript but can also explain a complex integration to a C-level client. You will be the technical heart of our Revenue and Product teams.

You will be primarily responsible for designing and delivering technical solutions throughout the entire customer lifecycle-from initial sales and onboarding to long-term growth. Reporting to the Tech Support Lead, you will leverage your product expertise, technical background, and strong communication skills to provide precise, high-quality, and timely resolutions. Your work will directly support bookingkit’s mission to drive revenue and streamline operations for our clients by utilizing agile principles, automation, and AI-driven tools to ensure scalable, top-tier service.

Hybrid or remote, the work setup choice is yours!

Your Day-to-Day

  • Solve Technical Puzzles: Deep-dive into 2nd-level support cases involving API implementations and widget integrations.
  • Empower Sales: Act as the technical expert in high-stakes sales meetings to remove “technical doubt” for enterprise clients.
  • Drive the AI Future: Help build and optimize our AI-driven support infrastructure and documentation.
  • Product Voice: Identify trends in technical issues and advocate for product fixes directly with the Engineering team.

Requirements

Do you have experience in Sales?, * Fluency in German & English.

  • Web Fundamentals: Proficiency in JavaScript and a solid understanding of how RESTful APIs work.
  • Debugging Skills: You’re a pro with Browser DevTools and identifying why a script isn’t firing.
  • Client Empathy: You enjoy helping people solve problems.

Super Awesome if You Have:

  • Familiarity with SEO/Tracking (GTM, GA).
  • Experience with SQL or Linux.
  • Knowledge of Italian.

Benefits & conditions

  • Remote Work: Enjoy a 100% remote work setup, with the option to join colleagues in our Berlin office. Our Mobile Work Abroad policy also allows you to work from almost anywhere in the world for up to 5 months in the year.
  • 28 Vacation Days + Tenure: Start with 28 vacation days per year, and earn an extra vacation day each year on your anniversary date (up to a maximum of 31 days).
  • Public Transportation Subsidy: We cover more than 50% of your public transportation costs in Germany.

  • Gym Subsidy: Get subsidized memberships for Urban Sports Club (more than 40%) and Wellhub (100%!) in Germany.
  • Annual Private Travel Subsidy: Receive up to €156 annually for private travel.
  • Corporate Discounts: Enjoy discounts through partnerships with companies like GetYourGuide.

  • Flat Communication: Join a culture that values open communication and accessibility between teams and leads.

  • Team Events: Enjoy regular BBQs in Berlin, summer and winter events, and reunions with former employees.
  • Airport/Train Office Day: Work during travel even if you’re unable to take calls.
  • Extra Charity Day: Take an extra day of leave in the year for charity work.
  • Child Sick Days: Receive 10 days of paid leave for child sickness.

Our Vision & Mission

Our future is clearly defined:

  • Our vision is to create a world where our technology makes booking and marketing experiences a breeze.
  • Our mission is to develop bookingkit into the ultimate integrated booking technology for professional European attractions.
