Job description

The IT Support & Field Technology Specialist is responsible for managing the day-to-day technology needs of the company while also deploying and supporting technology at remote client locations.

This role combines traditional IT responsibilities with hands-on field engineering. You’ll prepare equipment at our warehouse, support employees remotely, and travel nationwide to build and maintain trial war rooms and mobile office environments.

Primary Responsibilities - Internal IT

  • Configure Windows laptops and workstations
  • Manage Microsoft 365 accounts
  • Create and manage email accounts
  • Configure Outlook
  • Set up Dial Pad Phone Systems
  • Manage SharePoint permissions
  • Configure OneDrive
  • Manage user onboarding and offboarding
  • Install software and updates
  • Maintain company printers
  • Troubleshoot hardware issues
  • Maintain inventory of computers and accessories
  • Track company technology assets
  • Assist employees with technical support requests

Network Administration

  • Configure wireless networks
  • Deploy TP-Link Omada and Deco systems
  • Configure routers
  • Configure switches
  • Configure VLANs
  • Troubleshoot internet connectivity
  • Maintain VPN connectivity
  • Configure Wi-Fi security
  • Optimize network performance

Trial Site Technology Deployment

Travel throughout the United States to:

  • Build temporary office environments
  • Deploy enterprise Wi-Fi
  • Install dual-monitor workstations
  • Configure docking stations
  • Install printers
  • Build conference room technology
  • Configure presentation displays
  • Install wireless networks
  • Manage internet circuits
  • Troubleshoot onsite technology
  • Provide technical support during trial (Remote)

Warehouse Responsibilities

  • Prepare equipment for deployment
  • Test all equipment before shipment
  • Image laptops
  • Organize inventory
  • Load equipment into trucks
  • Maintain warehouse technology
  • Document equipment configurations
  • Assist with shipping and receiving

Requirements

We’re looking for someone who loves technology, enjoys solving problems, and isn’t afraid to travel., Required:

  • Strong Windows 11 experience
  • Microsoft 365 administration
  • Outlook configuration
  • Laptop imaging and deployment
  • Basic networking knowledge
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills
  • Outstanding customer service
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to travel frequently

Preferred:

  • CompTIA A+
  • Network+
  • Microsoft 365 Fundamentals
  • Experience with UniFi, TP-Link Omada, or enterprise Wi-Fi
  • Experience configuring routers and switches
  • Experience with Microsoft Intune or Autopilot
  • Experience supporting executive-level users
  • Experience with audiovisual systems
  • Experience in hospitality, events, or field services
