Job description

  • A minimum of four (4) years of experience in supporting computer systems related to digital environment., * A minimum of two (2) years of experience in supporting computer systems related to digital environment.

AND

  • Proficiency required in the following:

  • Basic hardware and software troubleshooting
  • Knowledge of Windows, Mac, and iOS operating systems
  • Installing and maintaining software applications
  • Managing and maintaining computer network systems including Virtual and Local Area Networks
  • Supporting enterprise applications used in word processing, spreadsheets, databases, presentations, and electronic mail, cloud storage and other related applications.
  • Effective communication
  • Computer skills as required for the position, The Technology Support Specialist I & II jobs are designated as one job for the purpose of job progression when the employee has achieved an evaluation indicating that his/her job performance has met or exceeded the expectations of the job. The Technology Support Specialist I shall be promoted to Technology Support Specialist II after two (2) years of experience in the department/school. SIGNIFICANT CONTACTS-frequency, contact, purpose Collaborates with customers at the assigned location and with district level technology support staff to ensure an effective, stable and consistent digital environment.
