If you thrive in a fast-paced environment where creativity meets technical excellence, this is your opportunity to make a significant impact!, The UI/UXC Developer will design and build intuitive, scalable, and high-performing user interfaces for Dental Advocacy Group’s enterprise-grade SaaS software solutions designed for the dental industry. Some of these solutions exist today and some are in the initial stages of prototyping. The ideal candidate, working independently or cross-functionally, can bridge design and development, turning user needs and product requirements into elegant and functional end-user experiences. Additionally, the ideal candidate must understand application architecture and HIPAA (Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996) and other related compliance requirements, have a programming background to ensure system solutions are designed and maintained to protect sensitive healthcare data as well as meet ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act) requirements., UI Development

  • Build - responsive, accessible, and efficient user interfaces
  • Translate - Complex workflows into intuitive user experiences
  • Compatibility - Ensure cross-browser and cross-device compatibility
  • Designs - Produce Figma, prototypes, etc.

UX Implementation & Improvement

  • Improvement - Identify friction points and recommend design improvements.
  • States - Design and implement loading, error, empty, success, etc. states.
  • Library - Contribute to and maintain a design /component library

Component & Design System Development

  • Reusable - Develop and maintain reusable UI components.
  • Evolve - Contribute to and evolve the design system for consistency and scalability.
  • Alignment - Ensure alignment with DAG branding and UX standards
  • Clarification - Clarify requirements and provide technical input on feasibility

Collaboration, Partnership & Stakeholder Engagement

  • Partner - with product and business teams to align UX strategy with business goals
  • Communication - Present design concepts, prototypes and rationale to stakeholders and leadership
  • Design - Manage design critiques and peer reviews to improve overall design
  • Developers - Work with developers (front-end/Back-end) to ensure design feasibility and implementation as well as provide programming support as needed

Testing & Quality

  • Validation - Work with customer success/support teams to understand pain points and Validate UI functionality and usability across environments
  • Testing - Participate in User testing and incorporate feedback
  • Troubleshoot - Troubleshoot and resolve UI/UX defects

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s and related experience in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
  • 3-5+ years of UI/UX development or front-end development
  • Strong proficiency in:
  • HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript
  • Modern frameworks (ex, React, Angular, Blazor, etc.)
  • Programming languages such as Python, JavaScript, C#, HTML, etc.
  • Familiarity with UX principles and usability best practices

Preferred Qualifications

  • Relevant certifications (Google, Flaitron, Brainstation, etc.)
  • Experience with design systems or component libraries
  • Familiarity with Figma, Adobe XD, or similar
  • Experience in SaaS or enterprise applications
  • Knowledge of accessibility standards
  • Experience in regulated environments (ex. Healthcare, HIPAA, etc.)
  • SOC 2 (System and Organization Controls)Type 1 or 2 experience
