Job description

This position reports to the Executive Director of Enrollment Technical Services and supports the Enrollment Technical Services and Admissions Processing teams. Primary job duties include:

  • Utilize Slate capabilities to develop forms, automate manual processes, improve student application experience, and build in quality control measures to ensure data accuracy in Slate and feeds to other systems such as Axiom and Banner. Explore and develop Slate reports. Research and implement Slate functionality not currently being utilized.
  • Design, test, and implement computer programs and reports running against relational databases to enhance and support administrative business functions
  • Create complex statistical reporting
  • Provide in-depth research and reports for Enrollment Services
  • Understand and use reporting tools such as Slate, Argos, iSQL, and Microsoft Access.
  • Serve as the primary resource person to provide training, answer questions, and resolve issues related to the Banner Student System.
  • Test new software releases such as Slate, Banner, BDM, and Argos to ensure accuracy with processing, compliance with mods, and reporting.
  • Study the feasibility of programming requests and search for and implement automated solutions for better efficiency in Enrollment Services.
  • Write ad hoc reports and create electronic transactions to update Banner as requested.
  • Perform other related tasks and special projects as assigned.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree required. Bachelor’s degree in computer information systems, management or a related field preferred., Three (3) years progressive experience with computer systems in a service environment, enrollment management office (admissions/records/financial aid), or related area required.
