Job description

  • Install electrical security systems such as alarm panels, CCTV cameras, sensors, access control devices, and fire alarm systems according to schematics and technical drawings.
  • Troubleshoot and repair low-voltage electrical wiring, cabling, and equipment issues using hand tools and power tools.
  • Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical documentation to accurately design and implement system layouts.
  • Conduct system testing to ensure proper operation of security components including IDS (Intrusion Detection Systems), surveillance cameras, and door security integrations.
  • Provide technical troubleshooting support for complex system malfunctions involving networking, remote access software, and electrical wiring.
  • Assist customers with system demonstrations, explain features clearly, and deliver exceptional service throughout the installation process.
  • Maintain detailed records of installations, service visits, system configurations, and troubleshooting steps for quality assurance.

  • Strong mechanical knowledge combined with hands-on experience using hand tools, power tools, and low-voltage electrical wiring techniques.
  • Ability to read electrical blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings with precision.
  • Familiarity with CCTV surveillance systems, sensors (motion detectors), alarm & access control systems, fire alarms, and intercoms.
  • Knowledge of computer hardware setup, networking principles including TCP/IP protocols, remote access software, and telecommunication basics.
  • Skilled in troubleshooting equipment issues related to low-voltage electrical systems and digital components.
  • Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to clients.
  • Physical ability to perform installation tasks that require lifting equipment, climbing ladders or working in confined spaces.
  • Valid construction or electrical certification/license preferred; familiarity with NEC (National Electrical Code) standards is a plus.
