Job description
As an Enterprise Architect within Razorfishâs Connected CRM and Commerce Practice, you are the master strategist behind the curtain. Your mission is to transform fragmented marketing visions into seamless, high-performance commerce engines. You arenât just building systems; you are ensuring that every data point, every transaction, and every customer interaction is part of a unified, âbulletproofâ digital experience that drives massive business growth.
- The Executive Liaison: You are the âTranslator-in-Chief.â You will sit at the high table with Senior Marketing Executives to understand their âCriteria for Success,â then cross the aisle to Client CTOs to translate those dreams into rigorous technical requirements and long-term architectural strategies. You make the âimpossibleâ use case a functional reality.
- The Scalability Architect: You donât solve the same problem twice. You will identify recurring business patterns across our global portfolio to develop âRepeatable Playsâ and proprietary methodologies. Your goal is to build the architectural âengineâ that allows Razorfish to deploy high-end CRM and Commerce solutions at a speed and scale our competitors canât touch.
- The Governance Guardian: You are the scout and the sentry. You will design and implement âEarly Warning Systemsâ and governance frameworks that proactively detect technical dependencies, data silos, or integration bottlenecks. You empower our client teams to diagnose risks and pivot strategies before they ever stall a large-scale transformation initiative.
-
Ecosystem Orchestration: You will lead the selection and integration of complex MarTech and Commerce stacks, ensuring that platforms like Salesforce Data Cloud, Adobe Experience Platform, or headless commerce engines work in perfect harmony.
- The Tech Stack Visionary: You possess deep, battle-tested experience in enterprise-grade platforms-specifically Salesforce (Marketing/Commerce/Data Clouds), Adobe (AEP/Target/AEM), or Sitecore. You understand the nuances of CDPs, identity resolution, and the âMachâ (Microservices, API-first, Cloud-native, Headless) architecture.
- The Data Strategist: You have a mastery of data privacy and security (GDPR, CCPA) and understand how to architect for a cookieless future without sacrificing personalization.
- The Executive Storyteller: You have the âConsultative Edge.â You can present a complex, multi-year architectural roadmap to a CMO in a way that feels like a growth strategy, not a technical burden.
Requirements
- The Pattern Matcher: You possess a high âArchitectural IQâ-the ability to look at ten different client problems and see the one underlying solution that can be productized and scaled.
- Experience: 12+ years in technology leadership, with a significant portion spent in a high-growth agency or consultancy environment.
