Job description

  • Frontline Technical Support: Answer client inquiries via email, ticketing systems, and video calls to troubleshoot hardware, firmware, and software integration issues.
  • Hardware Diagnostics & Repair: Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical components, including advanced servos, sensor suites, LiDAR, power systems, and Unitree dexterous hands.
  • Software & Firmware Configuration: Assist clients with Unitree SDK installations, firmware updates, and basic Linux/ROS environments.
  • Quality Assurance & Testing: Perform incoming inspection, calibration, and stress-testing on new and repaired robots before they ship out to clients.
  • Documentation: Create clear, concise internal documentation and customer-facing FAQs based on common issues and solutions.

Requirements

  • Foundational Knowledge: Bachelor’s degree in Robotics, Mechatronics, Electrical/Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent hands-on hobbyist/work experience (e.g., building drones, 3D printers, or RC vehicles).
  • The Linux Basics: Comfortable navigating a Linux (Ubuntu) terminal. You don’t need to be a kernel developer, but cd, ls, and sudo apt-get shouldn’t scare you.
  • Mechanical & Electrical Aptitude: Experience using basic hand tools, multimeters, and soldering irons. You should be comfortable handling delicate ribbon cables and high-torque actuators.
  • Strong Communication: Ability to translate complex technical jargon into easy-to-understand instructions for clients with varying levels of robotics experience.
  • Problem-Solving Mentality: A methodical approach to troubleshooting. When something breaks, you enjoy figuring out why.

Bonus Points If You Have:

  • Familiarity with ROS / ROS2 (Robot Operating System).
  • Basic programming skills in C++ or Python.
  • Prior experience specifically with Unitree hardware or advanced robotic end-effectors/dexterous hands.

Benefits & conditions

  • Competitive entry-level salary and benefits package.
  • Hands-on training with the latest, most advanced quadrupedal and humanoid robots on the market.
  • A dynamic, collaborative team environment at the forefront of the commercial robotics boom.
  • Clear pathways for career growth into Field Engineering, Robotics QA, or Support Management.

Pay: $19.00 - $26.00 per hour
