GIS Specialist/Analyst

Support the GIS and work order systems used to manage utility assets, projects, maintenance, and daily operations., * Create and maintain GIS maps, dashboards, applications, and databases

• Collect, update, analyze, and verify geographic and utility asset data
• Support Trimble Work Order Management configuration, testing, upgrades, and troubleshooting
• Work with engineering and operations teams to improve data, processes, and reporting
• Assist with automation, system integrations, technical support, and user training

We’re looking for a curious, dependable team player who can turn data into practical tools that help City Utilities work smarter., * Associate degree in GIS, Computer Science, Civil Engineering Technology, or a related field; equivalent experience may be considered

• Three to six years of GIS experience
• Experience with spatial data management and web mapping applications
• Strong analytical, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Valid Indiana driver’s license if operating a City vehicle

Preferred Certifications

• GIS training or certification

Technical Skills & Knowledge

• ESRI ArcGIS and ArcGIS Online
• Trimble Work Order Management or a similar system
• Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Teams, and Excel
• Power BI, SQL, Python, Arcade, APIs, or Model Builder
