Job description
- Build and maintain websites and landing pages using Wix, including custom functionality through Wix’s built-in development tools
- Write and work with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to bring web concepts to life and extend functionality beyond what drag-and-drop allows
- Build and manage forms, internal tools, and workflow apps using AppSheet
- Design graphics, marketing assets, and branded visuals using Canva and Adobe Photoshop
- Organize and analyze data clearly using Google Sheets
- Support project deployment and version control using GitHub and VS Code
- Collaborate with the team to solve problems creatively and keep digital assets looking sharp
- Periodically travel onsite to support our events a few times per year - a fun change of scenery that’s fully covered!
Requirements
Join the Signature Group Events team as a Junior Web Designer & Developer, where creativity meets just enough code. This full-time, fully remote role is ideal for someone who has a solid foundation in front-end development and a strong design eye - but who thrives most when building practical, polished tools and experiences rather than deep backend systems. You’ll wear a few hats: part designer, part developer, part data wrangler. And every few months, you’ll get the chance to step away from your desk and experience our events firsthand., * Basic to intermediate understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript - you don’t need to be a backend engineer, but you should be comfortable in a code editor
- Experience with Wix or similar website builders - familiarity with Wix’s editor and tools is a strong plus
- A strong design eye with hands-on experience in Canva and Photoshop
- Solid proficiency in Google Sheets, including formulas, data organization, and formatting
- Experience or enthusiasm for building forms and tools - particularly in AppSheet or similar no-code/low-code platforms
- Familiarity with GitHub or similar version control tools
- Comfortable working with data - organizing and interpreting it in a clear and useful way
- Creative problem-solver who can think both visually and technically
- Self-motivated and dependable in a fully remote environment
- Basic knowledge of MySQL is a bonus, but absolutely not required
- Ability and willingness to travel occasionally for onsite events
Nice to Have
- Exposure to UX/UI principles and responsive design best practices
- Experience with Velo by Wix for JavaScript customization within the Wix platform
- Any familiarity with modern frameworks (React, etc.) or cloud tools - curiosity counts!
