IT Desktop Support Tech

We are looking for a Deskside Support IT Service Tech that enjoys learning, problem-solving, and helping people with technical and non-technical requests for technology support.

The Deskside Support IT Service Tech’s responsibilities include providing insightful advice and friendly support to end-users, identifying technical and non-technical solutions, and provisioning equipment for new users.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain business relationships with end-users
• Identify and resolve technical issues
• User on-boarding and equipment provisioning
• Documentation, including Inventory, “How-To”, FAQs, and processes

• Strong people skills - you are approachable, a good listener, and empathetic
• A curiosity to learn, experiment, automate and teach
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
• Proficient with Microsoft Windows and iOS devices
• Experience with Microsoft Office

Desirable

• Knowledge of Microsoft SharePoint, Teams
• Experience with scripting (ex. PowerShell, Python, etc.) or RPA technologies
• Experience with any MDM technologies, * High school or equivalent, * Help desk: 1 year (Preferred)
• Windows: 1 year (Preferred)

Job Types: Part-time, Internship

Pay: Hourly rate to be determined, based on experience/skill

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday, 8am - 4pm. Preference to 7:30am start, if possible.

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Hartselle, AL: Reliable transportation to and from to the Hartselle office (Required)
