Epic Clarity & Caboodle Developer Administrator

• Build and Maintain the Epic Cogito infrastructure. This includes:
• Managing SQL users and roles for database access
• Applying Epic updates to Cogito Servers
• Monitoring the Clarity and Caboodle Nightly ETLs and addressing any failures
• Triage and carry out system change requests from BI Developers
• Manage and accommodate growth and system improvement to maintain system performance, capacity, and resilience. This includes:
• Planning and carrying out all Epic upgrade tasks for Cogito Infrastructure
• Monitoring system growth as it applies to server resources (CPU, Storage, Memory); planning and requesting or carrying out system changes to accommodate forecasted growth.
• Ensuring system resilience and downtime readiness through analysis, design, and build.
• Meet Weekly with Epic TS to keep current on new issues. Manage the open requests and build projects for Cogito Systems.

• SQL Server administrator experience, including management of peripheral tools and integrations (SSIS, SSRS, ODBC Connectors)
• Epic certifications:
• Caboodle Administration
• Clarity Administration

Nice to have:

• build processes and tools to reduce maintenance overhead
• experience with Azure and/or AWS
• experience with powershell scripting
• experience with VMware administration
• experience with storage / SAN administration
• experience with PowerBI, Tableau, and other reporting platforms that may integrate with the core reporting databases.
• Windows administrator experience, including RCA of critical system failures
• Microsoft Azure Database Administrator Associate with current Microsoft DP-300 certification., * Cogito: 3 years (Required)
