Job description

As a Senior IT Project Manager, you will lead and coordinate a portfolio of complex technology initiatives focused on infrastructure modernization, enterprise platforms, cloud services, application delivery, and system integrations. You will be responsible for managing projects throughout the full project lifecycle while collaborating with technical teams, architects, developers, infrastructure engineers, security professionals, database administrators, vendors, and executive stakeholders. This role requires a strong blend of project management expertise and technical knowledge to successfully deliver strategic technology initiatives that align with organizational goals and governance standards., * Lead multiple concurrent IT projects through initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, and closeout phases.

  • Manage project scope, schedules, budgets, resources, risks, dependencies, and issue resolution activities.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams including infrastructure, application development, database, security, cloud, and vendor resources.
  • Facilitate project governance processes, executive reporting, and stakeholder communications.
  • Develop and maintain project artifacts including project charters, project plans, RAID logs, work plans, status reports, and meeting documentation.
  • Partner with technical architects and team leads to identify implementation impacts, technical dependencies, deployment strategies, and project risks.
  • Manage vendor and contractor activities to ensure successful delivery of project objectives and milestones.
  • Support enterprise technology modernization programs and infrastructure lifecycle management initiatives.
  • Ensure projects adhere to organizational governance standards, policies, and strategic objectives.
  • Monitor project performance and proactively implement corrective actions when needed.
  • Drive collaboration among business and technical stakeholders to ensure project success.
  • Track and communicate project progress, accomplishments, risks, and mitigation plans to leadership.
  • Coordinate testing, implementation, deployment, and transition-to-support activities.
  • Ensure timely delivery of project milestones while maintaining quality and budget expectations.

Requirements

  • Proven experience managing multiple large-scale IT projects simultaneously.
  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies, processes, and best practices.
  • Experience managing infrastructure modernization and technology transformation initiatives.
  • Experience coordinating cross-functional technical teams including infrastructure, development, database, security, and cloud resources.
  • Strong expertise in project planning, scheduling, budgeting, risk management, and resource coordination.
  • Experience developing and maintaining project artifacts such as project charters, schedules, RAID logs, status reports, and work plans.
  • Ability to facilitate executive-level communications and governance reporting.
  • Experience managing vendor and contractor relationships in complex project environments.
  • Strong understanding of enterprise application delivery and implementation processes.
  • Experience supporting infrastructure migration, modernization, and platform upgrade projects.
  • Knowledge of cloud and hybrid technology environments.
  • Experience managing system integration and API-related initiatives.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to engage technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with architects, developers, engineers, security teams, and business leaders.
  • Experience supporting enterprise software implementation projects.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, or a related field preferred.
  • PMP certification or equivalent project management certification preferred.
