Senior IT Project Manager

The Pennsylvania Public Utility Commission (PUC) is seeking an experienced Senior IT Project Manager to lead enterprise-level IT projects focused on infrastructure modernization, application delivery, cloud technologies, and system upgrades. The ideal candidate will have strong project management expertise combined with a solid technical understanding of enterprise infrastructure, software development, and system architecture. Responsibilities

• Lead multiple IT projects through planning, execution, monitoring, and successful delivery.
• Manage project scope, schedules, budgets, risks, issues, and resource allocation.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams, including infrastructure, application development, database, cloud, security, and vendor resources.
• Develop and maintain project documentation, including project plans, schedules, RAID logs, status reports, meeting minutes, and project charters.
• Work closely with technical leads and architects to identify project impacts, risks, dependencies, and deployment strategies.
• Manage vendor and contractor activities to ensure project deliverables are completed on time and within scope.
• Provide regular project status updates to executive leadership and key stakeholders.
• Support enterprise technology modernization initiatives, infrastructure lifecycle management, and system upgrades.

• 8+ years of IT Project Management experience managing enterprise technology projects.
• Experience leading infrastructure modernization, application implementation, or system migration projects.
• Strong understanding of enterprise infrastructure, cloud technologies, software development, and system integrations.
• Experience managing projects involving Windows Server, SQL Server, .NET applications, APIs, and cloud platforms (Azure or AWS).
• Knowledge of Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid project management methodologies.
• Excellent communication, leadership, stakeholder management, and organizational skills.
• Experience managing project budgets, timelines, risks, and vendor relationships.

Preferred Qualifications

• PMP Certification preferred.
• Experience with data center migrations and cloud transformation initiatives.
• Government or public sector IT project experience is a plus.
