Job description

Sunstates Security is hiring a Security Operation Center Analyst in the Uptown Charlotte, NC area. Shchedule will be Thursday - Friday 10:00pm-6:00am and Saturday-Sunday 7:00pm-7:00am is! This position offers a pay rate of $18.72/hr, with weekly pay., Responsible for access control monitoring, video surveillance monitoring, supporting the visitor management system and entering service request when necessary.

  • Monitoring physical threats and events that may impact employees, assets, and operations
  • Ability to analyze large data sets and unstructured signals for the purpose of identifying threats, trends, and anomalies.
  • Conduct multi-step breach and investigative analysis to trace the dynamic activities associated with advanced threats.
  • Supports quality control and compliance programs to include weekly camera audits, documenting PCI sites according to procedures, accurate case classification, and tracking of physical security issues.
  • Utilize specialized tools to search social media and the internet for potential threats against the company, associates, contractors and visitors.
  • Analyzes signals coming from various tools such as access control, threat and monitoring, video, and real time tracking of incidents that could impact the organization.
  • Demonstrated a strong knowledge of call center environment along with good communication skills.
  • Delivers continuous improvement year over year by providing accurate information, timely case entry, enhancing problem solving skills, and sound decision making.
  • Builds solid peer-to-peer relationships in a team environment to meet operational needs.
  • Communicates effectively and clearly on a daily, weekly, monthly basis with leadership to provide exceptional customer service regarding routine and escalated requests.
  • Ability to conduct in-depth research on various entities as request by our business partners.
  • Respond promptly to requests and complete concise and timely reports.
  • Ability to handle both common and crisis situations calmly and efficiently.
  • Maintains confidentially with sensitive information.
  • Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays., A Security Officer may perform a multitude of duties as specified by the Post Orders and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP). The Security Officer will read and become extremely knowledgeable of Post Orders and SOP and will be able to act quickly and efficiently according to such directives.

Requirements

1+ years in physical security related fields.

  • Computer skills sufficient to operate on-line systems and complex software often using multiple programs simultaneously.
  • Ability to enter data in multiple platforms and possesses intermediate to advanced word processing skills.
  • Advanced oral and written communication skills, enough to provide information, deliver information to leadership, and answer inquiries.
  • Hands on experience in security systems, including access control, intrusion detection systems, video software, threat intelligence tools, filtering through alerts, and mass communication.
  • Computer skills sufficient to operate on-line systems and complex software often using multiple programs simultaneously.
  • Ability to exercise judgment to research and solve operational problems where the answer is not apparent.
  • Knowledge of access control and video systems are required
