SAP Application Manager - Hybrid - Utrecht, Netherlands

Global Enterprise Partners is currently looking for an SAP Application Manager with strong experience of SAP FICO and application management within regulated manufacturing environments for a permanent opportunity in Utrecht, Netherlands. Our client is a leading organisation within the pharmaceutical production industry and they are looking for an SAP Application Manager to support and optimise business-critical applications that underpin manufacturing, quality, finance, and supply chain operations. As SAP Application Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the stability, compliance, and continuous improvement of key systems including SAP FICO, MES, and LIMS. You will work closely with business stakeholders, IT teams, and external vendors to support the delivery of reliable and compliant application services in a highly regulated environment., * Manage and optimise SAP applications within a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment

• Provide functional application support for SAP FICO, MES, and LIMS platforms
• Analyse and resolve incidents, service requests, and system-related issues
• Support key users and stakeholders across Finance, Manufacturing, Quality, Supply Chain, and IT
• Coordinate application changes with external partners and internal technical teams
• Manage testing, documentation, validation, and implementation activities
• Support system releases, upgrades, and continuous improvement initiatives
• Ensure compliance with quality standards and validation requirements
• Drive process improvements and enhance overall application performance

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Business Information Systems, or a related field
• Proven experience as an SAP Application Manager, Functional Application Manager, SAP Consultant, or similar role
• Strong experience with SAP FICO
• Experience with MES (Manufacturing Execution Systems) and/or LIMS (Laboratory Information Management Systems)
• Experience working within pharmaceutical, life sciences, medical device, or other regulated industries
• Knowledge of GxP regulations and validated systems
• Experience with application lifecycle management, incident management, and change management
• Familiarity with ITIL processes
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
• Ability to coordinate with internal teams, external vendors, and business users
• Dutch language skills are highly preferred
• Fluent English communication skills
