SAP Operator

An opportunity has arisen within the control area of a multinational engineering company for an experienced Production Controller/Inventory Controller, working within the Inventory control team.

As a Production Controller/Inventory Controller, you will be managing the supply of materials for use in Production, to ensure site plans and requirements are met.

The nature of the role requires a high calibre person with a strong knowledge of SAP; experience in the following modules would be an advantage MM, PP, WM, QM.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in the supply chain, with experience gained working in the following industries considered favourable, Automotive, Telecommunications, Pharmaceutical, or Aviation.

You will be required to match componments on the system to the pieces themselves to make sure all in accounted for.

Responsibilities will also include, but are not limited to;

• Updating SAP with the correct items
• Using Excel spread sheets and SAP systems.
• Ensuring materials are kitted and available to production in an orderly and timely way.
• Working in an ESD manufacturing area

• Experience of SAP
• Must be able to demonstrate the capability of working in a pressurised, deadline driven, but procedure controlled production environment.
• Good communication skills, verbal and written, are required.
• Computer literacy, with confidence in the use of standard computer packages, will need to be demonstrated.
• Knowledge of material handling techniques and theory will be a positive advantage.
