Requirements

We are seeking a passionate Software Developer preferably with a minimum of two years’ experience, to join our creative team in building a new and innovative ecommerce platform from the ground up. This is an exceptional opportunity for someone who thrives in a challenging and design-led environment and wants to be part of creating something transformative in the ecommerce space.

As a back-end developer, you’ll work with a modern .NET tech stack, scalable architectures, and robust development practices to build secure, high-performance systems. You’ll be part of a team that values clean, maintainable code to deliver future-ready solutions that power exceptional digital experiences.

Your Technical Toolkit

Essential:

o Strong proficiency in ASP.NET 8+ and C#

o Experience with microservices architecture and API development

o Experience with Clean Architecture and SOLID design principles and Domain-Driven Design (DDD)

o Exposure to containerised Cloud-based hosting infrastructure, ideally with Azure

o Knowledge of authentication systems (Auth0)

o Experience working with Git-based source control

o Experience working with both relational and document-based (NOSQL) databases, ideally within the Microsoft ecosystem (SQL Server and Cosmos)

o Proficiency in writing SQL queries, developing optimised stored procedures, and managing database schema objects.

o Experience with identifying software bugs and proactively refactoring code to prevent vulnerabilities[CM1]

· Desired

o Experience with CI/CD pipelines

o Experience with event-driven architecture and message queuing

o Experience with creating solutions from documentation and API specifications

o An understanding of testing practices, particularly with unit and integration testing

o Experience using AI as a productivity tool

o Exposure to the use of AI models particularly to enhance system functionality
