C# Backend Software Developer

Running at the forefront of collaborative design platforms for engineers, our client seeks genuinely talented and skilled backend developers to play a key role in the evolution of their cutting-edge product.

Working with .NET Core, AWS and distributed high-load systems, you will enjoy handling novel technical challenges involving engineering software, microelectronics and cloud services.

Your regular tasks may include: building state-of-the-art cloud-native applications; scalable infrastructure; and fully exploiting the benefits of advanced techniques (such as AI and ML) to power complex search capabilities. You will need to be adept with code working with data on a large scale, including potentially data modelling, relational databases, and stateful and stateless servers, as well as ORM frameworks. This will allow you to design efficient, intent-based APIs and have a major influence on the product development of complex cloud applications.

Of course, such a challenging target can only be reached via good collaboration and effectively sharing knowledge with the rest of your skilled team, so excellent communication skills and a cooperative approach to development work will be expected.

Requirements include:

• A good degree in a technical subject such as Computer Science or similar
• Excellent skills with C#, the .NET Framework and .NET Core
• Familiar with multi-tenant architecture, scalable infrastructure and cloud microservices
• Demonstrable skills with AWS, (e.g. EC2, ECS, RDS) and containers such as Docker and Kubernetes
• Comfortable with CI / CD and Jenkins, in a commercial setting

You will also need full right to work in the UK without time limit or sponsorship.
