Job description

We are looking for a Software Engineer to join our diverse team at our Herndon, VA, office. The candidate will work within a cross-functional Agile Scrum Team primarily focusing on building and maintaining systems running in a containerized environment.

Requirements

For Senior Principal level: A Bachelor’s degree with 9+ years of relevant experience; OR a Master’s degree with 7+ years of relevant experience; OR a PhD with 4+ years of relevant experience an additional 4 years of experience may be considered in lieu of a degree requirement

For Staff level: A Bachelor’s degree with 14+ years of relevant experience; OR a Master’s degree with 12+ years of relevant experience; OR a PhD with 9+ years of relevant experience an additional 4 years of experience may be considered in lieu of a degree requirement

Required:

Significant Java and Python development experience Experience with SQL Shell Script experience Hands-on experience with Unix/Linux TS/SCI with Poly

**MUST HAVE AN ACTIVE TS/SCI WITH CI POLY CLEARANCE***

Desired:

Security+ or equivalent certification and willingness to serve as a privileged user supporting deployed systems testing Experience with Kubernetes (Red Hat OpenShift or another variant) Familiarity with NiFi Experience with cross-domain systems Experience with JavaScript
