Power BI Snowflake Powerquery Information Technology Star Schema Data Pipelines

Requirements

Proven experience as a Power BI Developer with a strong portfolio of reports and dashboards
Proficiency in Power BI Desktop, Power BI Service, DAX, Power Query (M Language), and semantic models
Hands-on experience with Snowflake, Oracle, and SQL querying
Knowledge of data modeling concepts (star schema, snowflake schema) and performance tuning
Ability to work with large datasets efficiently and implement security roles (RLS)
Strong problem-solving, troubleshooting, and communication skills
Experience in ETL, report deployment, and automation workflows
Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure is a plus

Nice to Have Skills:

Java and Python programming skills
Experience with CI/CD pipelines for BI & Data Pipelines
Knowledge of Snowflake-specific features like Snowpipe and Data Sharing

Preferred Education and Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field, or equivalent work experience
At least 3-5 years of professional experience in Power BI development and data visualization projects
