Data Management Tools for Reporting Programming Languages

Job description

You will lead migration projects from data request through launch, build reports and dashboards that provide actionable insights, support ticket resolution and operational workflows, and help develop tools that improve both internal efficiency and the church experience. You’ll collaborate closely with our team while also taking ownership of projects and identifying opportunities to improve processes.

Our ideal candidate is likely working in a technical support, analyst, implementation, data, or operations role and is looking for an opportunity to use their skills to make a Kingdom impact.

Schedule

This part-time position is scheduled for 30 hrs Sunday through Thursday, helping provide support coverage during weekends while ensuring smooth onboarding, migration, and reporting operations throughout the week.

  • Loves Jesus, loves people, and loves the Big “C” Church., Lead Data Migration Projects

  • Manage church data requests and migration projects from request through launch.
  • Import, validate, transform, and reconcile data between systems.
  • Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and security throughout the migration process.
  • Develop migration plans, timelines, and quality assurance procedures.
  • Troubleshoot migration issues and coordinate resolutions with internal teams and ministry partners.

Build Reports and Operational Insights

  • Create and maintain reports, dashboards, and data analysis tools for ministry partners.
  • Develop reporting solutions that provide visibility into adoption, engagement, giving trends, and operational performance.
  • Identify trends and opportunities through reporting and present findings clearly.

Support Operations and Customer Success

  • Assist with support tickets related to data, reporting, integrations, and migration activities.
  • Provide weekend support coverage as part of the Saturday-Wednesday schedule.
  • Document solutions and create resources that improve team efficiency and customer outcomes.
  • Help ministries understand and utilize reporting tools effectively.

Develop Internal Tools and Process Improvements

  • Create and maintain calculators, workflows, automation tools, and operational resources.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline migration processes and reduce manual effort.
  • Improve internal systems, documentation, and reporting capabilities.

Collaborate Across Teams

  • Partner with Support, Partner Success, Engineering, and Operations teams to ensure successful implementations and customer experiences.
  • Maintain clear communication with ministry partners throughout onboarding and migration projects.
  • Participate in cross-functional initiatives that improve products, processes, and service delivery.

Continuous Learning and Innovation

  • Stay informed on data management best practices, reporting tools, and migration methodologies.
  • Evaluate opportunities to improve efficiency, scalability, and customer outcomes through technology and automation.
  • Seek out overlooked opportunities that can strengthen our service to churches and ministries.

Requirements

We’re seeking a detail-oriented and mission-driven analyst who is passionate about helping churches successfully transition to new technology platforms and maximize the value of their data. This role is heavily focused on data migrations, reporting, operational support, and process improvement. The ideal candidate enjoys solving complex data challenges, building meaningful reports, and creating systems that help ministries operate more effectively., * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Comfortable working with data, spreadsheets, reports, and system integrations.
  • High attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
  • Able to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Loves to learn, appreciates feedback, and strives for continuous improvement.
  • High level of initiative and ability to work independently.
  • Performs job duties on time with excellence.
  • Actively participates in the life of their church., * High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Bachelor Degree in S.T.E.M. related areas.
  • Experience with SQL or other standard database languages.
  • Understanding and willingness to learn programming languages.
  • Strong self-motivation.
  • Ability to work alone and as part of a team.
  • Bonus if you have experience in:
