Power BI Engineer with Snowflake and Data Build Tool exposure and AI Skills

Strong Power BI dashboard and report development experience.

• Ability to create semantic models, DAX measures, Power Query transformations, drill-through reports, and executive dashboards.

• Experience connecting Power BI to Snowflake and optimizing datasets for performance.

• Ability to translate business KPIs into clean, usable, and executive-ready visualizations.

Core Snowflake Skills:

• Experience working with curated data layers such as bronze, silver, and gold models.

• Ability to write optimized SQL for reporting, reconciliation, transformation, and business analytics.

Data Build Tool Skills:

• Hands-on dbt experience for building models, tests, sources, snapshots, macros, and documentation.

• Ability to design reusable dbt models and implement data quality checks.

AI Skills to Add:

• Ability to use AI tools such as GitHub Copilot, Claude code to accelerate development, documentation, testing, and analysis.

• Understanding of AI-assisted analytics use cases such as natural language to SQL, automated insight generation, anomaly detection, and narrative reporting.
