Senior Cloud Architect

As a Senior Cloud Architect, you will lead the design and implementation of cloud architecture across enterprise environments.

You will collaborate with engineering, security, infrastructure, and business stakeholders to develop cloud strategies, establish best practices, and deliver high quality technology solutions., * Design and implement secure, scalable, and highly available cloud architectures.

• Develop cloud strategies and migration plans that align with business objectives.
• Lead the architecture and deployment of cloud solutions across Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Define cloud governance, security, networking, identity management, and operational standards.
• Collaborate with infrastructure, software engineering, DevOps, and cybersecurity teams throughout project delivery.
• Evaluate existing technology environments and recommend cloud modernisation strategies.
• Develop architecture documentation, technical standards, solution diagrams, and implementation roadmaps.
• Ensure cloud environments meet security, compliance, resilience, and performance requirements.
• Support infrastructure automation using Infrastructure as Code tools.
• Provide technical leadership and mentor cloud engineers and technical teams.
• Review emerging cloud technologies and recommend improvements that support long term business goals.
• Participate in architecture reviews and provide technical guidance on enterprise technology initiatives.

• Proven experience as a Cloud Architect, Senior Cloud Architect, Solutions Architect, or similar senior level role.
• Strong expertise with Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Experience designing enterprise cloud infrastructure, networking, storage, identity management, and security solutions.
• Strong understanding of cloud native architecture, microservices, containers, and Kubernetes.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, Bicep, ARM Templates, or CloudFormation.
• Knowledge of DevOps practices, CI and CD pipelines, and automation technologies.
• Experience implementing cloud security controls, disaster recovery, backup strategies, and high availability solutions.
• Strong understanding of enterprise networking, hybrid cloud, and multi cloud environments.
• Excellent communication, analytical, and stakeholder management skills.
• Professional certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect Professional, Microsoft Certified Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Google Professional Cloud Architect, or equivalent are highly desirable.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or equivalent professional experience.
• Eligibility to work in the United Kingdom.
