Senior Network Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Senior Network Engineer with deep expertise in Juniper and Palo Alto technologies to join our growing team. This is a hands-on technical position where you’ll take ownership of designing, implementing, and supporting complex network infrastructures across enterprise environments.

You’ll work closely with architecture, security, and operations teams to ensure high availability, strong security posture, and continuous service improvement., * Design, implement, and optimise enterprise network solutions across multi-site environments.

• Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot Juniper routing & switching platforms (EX, MX, QFX series).
• Manage, configure, and support Palo Alto NGFWs, including security policies, threat prevention, URL filtering, and GlobalProtect.
• Lead network migration, refresh, and enhancement projects.
• Monitor network performance, analyse capacity, and proactively address issues.
• Collaborate with security teams to implement best-practice firewall and segmentation strategies.
• Maintain accurate network documentation including diagrams, configurations, and change records.
• Mentor junior engineers and act as SME for escalations.

• Extensive hands-on experience with Juniper routing/switching platforms.
• Strong proficiency with Palo Alto Networks firewalls and associated security technologies.
• Deep understanding of Layer 2 & Layer 3 protocols (BGP, OSPF, STP, VXLAN, EVPN etc.).
• Experience in designing and supporting large-scale enterprise or service provider networks.
• Knowledge of network security principles and best practices.
• Strong troubleshooting and packet-level analysis skills.
• Experience with change control and ITIL processes.

Desirable

• Certifications such as JNCIP/JNCIE, PCNSE, CCNP/CCIE or similar.
• Knowledge of automation (Python, Ansible, Terraform).
• Exposure to SD-WAN, SASE or cloud networking (Azure/AWS).
• Experience with monitoring tools (SolarWinds, PRTG, Junos Space, Panorama).
