Job description

Provides professional support for end users of corporate computers and their associated networking, hardware, software, and peripherals. Provides technical support for healthcare information systems, troubleshoots technical issues, and assists end-users with software configurations. Produces and maintains documentation in support of IT equipment. Responsibilities will encompass a wide range of tasks, from troubleshooting complex operating errors to managing IT assets and providing technical training to staff., * Receives referrals from Service desk support, troubleshoots, diagnoses, and resolves more complex technical issues.

  • Installs and configures software or hardware updates or patches.
  • Evaluates and resolves network connectivity or communications systems issues.
  • Develops and maintains documentation related to systems or workstations, and may provide user training.
  • Ensures systems and workstations are compliant with organizational policies and security standards.
  • Maintains IT asset management and tracking.
  • Tests new software, hardware, or other IT assets.
  • Deploys network/non-network printers.
  • Ensure printers are appropriately configured for remote management
  • Install and maintain cabling for IT assets.
  • Deploys teleconferencing systems.
  • Deploys and maintains mobile devices.
  • Deploys and maintain Audio-Video solutions.
  • Collaborates with all Health IT teams as onsite support, for troubleshooting of non-computer equipment/software. (lab, radiology, and pharmacy equipment and EHR components)
  • Work with internal experts to provide more in-depth solutions.
  • 24/7 on-call support, onsite and remote.
  • Creates articles to maintain an active Knowledgebase
  • Set up and deploy new user workstations.
  • Low-level database entry.
  • Provide Intermediate-level onsite technical training to staff.
  • Provides an excellent customer support experience for end-users.
  • Maintains documentation for each incident, problem, or request
  • Abides by all Company, Tribal, State, and Federal regulations
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

LEVEL OF RESPONSIBILITY

  • Performs work under direct supervision.
  • Handles basic-intermediate issues and problems, and refers more complex issues to higher-level staff.
  • Possesses working knowledge of subject matter.
  • Self-initiates workflows to ensure constant progress.
  • Works with onsite leadership to relay issues/problems to proper solutions area.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • An additional three (3) years experience in a related field. Experience providing technical support in healthcare environments preferred.
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license with a driving history verified through a motor vehicle report that meets requirements for Cherokee Nation underwriting rating., * Oral and written communication skills.
