Job description

  • Oversees installation, configuration, and maintenance of systems software.
  • Ensures that system specifications, input and output processes, and working parameters for hardware and software are compatible with existing systems and promote stability across technology platforms.
  • Monitors system availability against established performance standards and troubleshoots and resolves networking and operating system problems.
  • Evaluates and implements innovative and/or automated approaches for system administration tasks.

LEVEL OF RESPONSIBILITY

  • Comprehensive knowledge of the field’s concepts and principles.
  • Performs complex tasks typically following established processes.
  • Leads and directs the work of other employees.
  • Primarily focused on administering established policies and procedures but may have some impact on departmental budgeting, strategic planning, and procedural change., While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to talk or hear. The employee is regularly required to sit. The employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl, and taste or smell. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. OTHER REQUIREMENTS The employee must not be and will not be under sanction by the United States Department of Health and Human Services Office of the Inspector General (OIG) or by the General Services Administration (GSA) or listed on the OIG’s Cumulative Sanction Report, or the GSA’s List of Excluded Providers, or listed on the OIG’s List of Excluded Individuals/Entities (LEIE).

Requirements

Do you have a valid Driver’s License license?, Do you have experience in Technical troubleshooting support?, Do you have a Bachelor’s degree?, * Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.

  • 6 years of experience.
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license with a driving history verified through a motor vehicle report that meets requirements for Cherokee Nation underwriting rating., * Ability to foster teamwork.
