Virtual Bookkeeper (US-Based) - Remote

The Virtual Bookkeeper will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, reconciling accounts, preparing financial reports, and supporting clients with their ongoing bookkeeping needs., * Record and categorize daily financial transactions accurately.

• Perform bank and credit card reconciliations.
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Prepare financial statements and bookkeeping reports.
• Maintain organized financial records and documentation.
• Assist with payroll processing and related accounting tasks.
• Support month-end closing procedures.
• Communicate with clients regarding bookkeeping questions and financial records.
• Collaborate with the accounting team to ensure accuracy and compliance.

We are seeking a US-based Virtual Bookkeeper to join our growing team. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, experienced with accounting systems, and capable of independently managing client bookkeeping tasks in a remote environment., * Must be based in the United States.

• Proven experience as a bookkeeper or in a similar accounting role.
• Strong knowledge of bookkeeping principles and financial reporting.
• Proficiency with accounting software such as QuickBooks Online (required).
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment.
• Associate’s degree in Accounting preferred, or equivalent experience (5+ years of bookkeeping experience).
• Bilingual in English and Spanish is preferred., * Tax preparation: 2 years (Required)
