Actively monitor company networks and systems for security breaches, intrusions, and other cyber threats. Analyse and respond to security alerts, leading incident response and investigation efforts to mitigate risks. Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and risk analyses to identify and address potential security weaknesses. Implement and maintain security measures, including firewalls, data encryption solutions, and access controls. Contribute to the development and enforcement of company-wide security policies, procedures, and best practices. Prepare and present detailed reports on security incidents, system status, and emerging threats to management. Stay informed on the latest cybersecurity trends, threats, and technologies to continuously improve our organisation’s security posture. Collaborate with the wider IT team and other departments to ensure security is a core component of all business operations.

A bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline is required. Demonstrable experience working in a cybersecurity analyst, security engineer, or a similar role. Strong knowledge of security principles, network protocols, and modern IT infrastructure. Hands-on experience with security tools such as SIEM, IDS/IPS, firewalls, and vulnerability management platforms. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with a keen eye for detail. Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. A proactive and collaborative approach to identifying and resolving security issues. Professional certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CEH, or CISSP are highly regarded. Experience with cloud security environments (e.g., AWS, Azure) and familiarity with industry compliance frameworks like NIST or ISO 27001 would be a significant advantage. Previous experience within the real estate or financial services industry is beneficial but not essential.
