Job description

A growing software development organization is seeking Full Stack .NET Engineers to join its team in either Tempe or Tucson, Arizona. This is a hybrid contract-to-hire opportunity focused on building modern cloud-based applications using .NET, Angular, SQL Server, and Azure technologies. The company develops custom software products for a diverse portfolio of businesses and is investing heavily in new application development initiatives., * Designing and developing modern web applications

  • Building backend services and APIs using .NET
  • Creating responsive user interfaces with Angular
  • Writing and optimizing SQL Server queries and stored procedures
  • Implementing cloud solutions within Azure
  • Participating in architecture discussions and solution design
  • Utilizing AI development tools to improve engineering productivity

  • 75% Hands-on Development
  • 15% Team Collaboration & Agile Ceremonies

Requirements

This is an excellent opportunity for engineers who enjoy creating solutions from the ground up rather than maintaining legacy systems. The team is leveraging the latest versions of Microsoft technologies, modern Angular frameworks, cloud-native architecture, and AI-powered development tools. Successful candidates will have the opportunity to influence architecture decisions, contribute to multiple products, and expand their skills in modern software engineering practices. Required Skills & Experience

  • 3+ years of software development experience
  • Strong C# and .NET/.NET Core development experience
  • Recent experience developing applications with Angular
  • Experience building REST APIs and web applications
  • SQL Server development experience
  • Knowledge of database design and stored procedures
  • Experience working within Azure environments
  • Experience with source control and modern development practices
  • Exposure to AI-assisted coding tools such as GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Codex, or Claude Code

Desired Skills & Experience

  • Experience with .NET 8 or .NET 9
  • Consulting or client-facing development experience
  • Cloud-native application development
  • CI/CD pipeline exposure
  • Microservices architecture experience
  • Experience building large-scale enterprise applications
