Job description

A large enterprise organization is seeking a Full Stack .NET Application Developer to support the development and modernization of web applications. This is a hybrid contract-to-hire role based in Northwest suburbs of Chicago (2 days onsite) working with .NET Core, C#, Angular, and modern web technologies.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of hands-on full stack development experience
  • Strong proficiency with .NET Core and C#
  • Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs
  • Hands-on experience with Angular or similar front-end frameworks
  • Experience developing and maintaining web applications
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills

Desired Skills & Experience

  • Experience with microservices architecture
  • Familiarity with Entity Framework Core
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps preferred)
  • Exposure to AI/ML integrations in applications
  • Familiarity with GitHub Copilot or AI-assisted development tools
  • Knowledge of common design patterns (MVC, Factory, Singleton, etc.)

What You Will Be Doing Tech Breakdown

  • 45% Backend development using .NET Core and C#
  • 35% Front-end development using Angular, HTML, and CSS
  • 20% API integrations, CI/CD, and optimization
