Job description

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior ERP Software Developer to join our in-house IT team. This role is ideal for someone with a passion for software development and a strong interest in ERP systems, particularly Epicor. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining custom solutions that support our manufacturing operations, including front-end applications, API integrations, and ERP customisations., * Develop and maintain custom applications using C#, and front-end technologies (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript).

  • Design and implement API integrations between Epicor and third-party systems.
  • Create and maintain SSRS reports to support business reporting requirements.
  • Customise Epicor ERP using tools such as: BAQs (Business Activity Queries)
  • BPMs (Business Process Management workflows)
  • User Interface customisations
  • Bartender label templates
  • Collaborate with business users to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Assist with testing, documentation, and deployment of new features and enhancements.
  • Provide functional support for Epicor users, helping to troubleshoot and resolve issues.

Requirements

  • Proficiency in object-oriented programming language and familiarity with the .NET Framework.
  • Experience with SQL Server and writing SSRS reports.
  • Understanding of RESTful APIs and integration techniques.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Good communication skills and a collaborative approach.

Desirable Skills:

  • Exposure to Epicor ERP or similar ERP systems.
  • Experience with Epicor customisation tools (BAQ, BPM, etc.).
  • Familiarity with Bartender label design software.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes and workflows.
  • Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
